I’m not sure why you can’t download DLC from the Vita Store, but for right now, you just can’t.

Use Content Manager on your Vita, which requires that your PS3 be connected to PSN, to find the DLC on your PS3 and copy it onto your Vita, which will just add the DLC files to your Dissidia 012 file on the Vita. Then, plug the Vita into your PS3 via USB Cable. Basically, download your DLC, one at a time, to your PS3 system. Many games that aren’t compatible with the Vita’s PS Store are compatible through this workaround method. What this means is that you need a PS3 system. You have to use the PS3 Workaround method for that.

You cannot download DLC for PSP games via PS Store for the Vita. If you want DLC, though, it’s not that simple. Then, you just have to find the game in Live Area, the Vita’s ‘home’ screen. You can get online, buy it, and then download it to your Vita’s memory card, so long as you have enough memory. The game appears on the Vita’s version of the PlayStation Store. It’s a fairly simple process, though it’s a bit trickier, if you want all of your DLC. So, I have some impressions now on getting the game and DLC to work on the system, and to compare it to how it runs on the PSP.įirst of all is getting the game onto the Vita system. Anyways, I just got a Vita recently and got to testing out my favorite PSP game. I wanted to end up making an article about Dissidia 012’s performance on the PlayStation Vita sooner, but as circumstances were with my life, I didn’t really have the money to buy a Vita when it had first come out. I hope this clears up any questions you had regarding these.I know this blog entry is incredibly late, but better late than never, I’d say. (Luckily, I’ve already done all the DLC ones lol) Not impossible, but will require more time and some knowledge on hex editing.

You also have to apply physics that are applied to the battle model onto the cutscene models, and like how there are multiple cutscene models, there are multiple physic controllers for them (the worst part if you have to sift through the ISO contents to locate them). You see, if you want a model like that in a cutscene (this also extends to non-DLC, Cloud AC, Yuna Wedding, etc), you would have to include new bones to each model, if ONE is off, the game will most likely crash.
Cutscene models are not impossible, but they due require more time, and that’s including the many shortcuts I’ve given myself.Īs for the Yuna as a Gunner. In game, during cutscenes, the models are constantly being switched with one another, the only way you’ll tell is if all the models had not been replaced. There are also multiple models per character (the 013 heroes can have around 10, I believe), and each of them are necessary. They also lack several bones that the battle models do have (such as the dress bones in Yuna’s wedding dress model). As such, it takes a certain degree of re-rigging in these areas. This mainly includes several facial bones and additional finger bones (some may even have specific bones, like Tidus’s necklace). The cutscene models have a different skeletal makeup when compared to the battle models.
